The Loksewa Paper-I Based Online Model test, which was set for Chaitra 5, has been cancelled. There are currently no Model tests scheduled.

Negative markings: 0.2 deduction for wrong answers



Loksewa Exam is mandatory to enter the permanent government services. Every year Public service commission (Lok Sewa Aayog) conducts entrances examinations. Central and 7 Provincial Loksewa conducts their exams separately.

Entrance exam pattern:

Phase I (for everyone):

Written test

  • 100 MCQs with 20 % negative markings, 1 hr 15 min

  • 100 Subjective/Theory questions: 3 hrs


Phase II (Only for those who qualify Phase I):
Group test: 10 marks

Personal interview: 30 marks

Section B: 30 marks

  • General Surgery: 10 marks

  • Ophthalmology, ENT, Dental: 10 marks

  • Ortho, Anesthesia, Patho: 10 marks

Section C: 20 marks

  • Gynae/Obstetrics: 10 marks

  • Pediatrics: 10 marks

Section: D: 20 marks

  • Community Medicine: 10 marks

  • Forensic Medicine, Acts related to Health and Medical Profession: 10 marks


  1. Visit the website and get oriented with various Sections.

  2. First pay for the exam before registration. NRs 250 per exam per person, NRs 500 for 2 exams per person, NRs 1000 per five exam per person (Same Transaction ID/Token number works for 5 exams).

  3. 5 time payment is valid for 5 successive exams. You can choose to use 5 Token to appear for any 5 exams within 6 weeks to the maximum.

  4. Payment can be done by ESewa (Education section > Council payment), Nepal Bank Limited, ConnectIPS, Mobile Banking, Fonepay,  Coupon/Token can also be purchased from Paradise institute, Kupondole. Visit Payment section of website for details.

  5. Now go to Register section in the website, register your name, mobile, email address and Transaction ID of payment or Token number. 

  6. Always remember (write on Paper) the Roll number you choose during registration. This is the key to Start exam and See results.

  7. You will receive email after the confirmation.

  8. On exam day, go to www.onlinepgnepal.com Go to start exam section. You can enter your name and registered email and start exam.
